Santa Clara goalie Kendall McIntosh, Creighton defender Eric Miller, UCLA defender Javan Torre and North Carolina forward Danny Garcia were included in the U.S. roster for the Under-20 World Cup announced by coach Tab Ramos on Friday.
Ramos chose a roster of 21 to take to Turkey for the World Cup. The U.S. opens play in Group A on June 21 against Spain and plays France on June 24 and Ghana on June 27.
All four of the college players were on the roster for the CONCACAF U-20 Championship earlier this year that lost to Mexico in the finals and made the recent trip to the Under-21 Toulon Tournament in France, where the U.S. finished with one win and three losses.
